• Au Pair duties usually revolve around children and the family.  However we have had some people contact us for au pairs to look after animals; some gardening; working in small shops and even a farm.  All of these form an exciting way to learn and improve your English whilst abroad getting some pocket money and working for about 16 to 20 hours a week.   If you choose the option to work a few more hours and get pocket money whilst being an au pair, this will not be subject to tax and you will still have free accommodation and food whilst staying with your family.
• Its just as worrying for host families who agree to welcome an au pair or a demi pair as it is for you to live with them.  Both sides will be worried.  Rest assured we will help you on your Work Experience Journey.  Making friends; learning English; finding out about the English country of your choice.
• Be assured that after a week or so you will make friends with other Au pairs in the area and take time with them to improve and speak English or even attend an English class.
• Whatever country you choose for your Au Pair or Demi Pair experience, you will find a dedicated Local Co Ordinator there ready to welcome you to your new host family; help you in the first few days and generally be your first point of call should you feel worried or homesick or need some help.  They will have met and inspected your host family to ensure that your work load is not too much; that they are warm and friendly and that your bedroom is of a suitable size and comfort for you.  In short, we ask them to offer you a “ home from home”.
