My name is Lucy and I am married to Alex and we have two young children (boys). My parents were hosts to students from many countries including France, Spain and Poland. I grew up in a multi cultural household, my mother is Polish and my father is Maltese. I have worked with young people in many capacities including teaching assistant, careers, work-experience and teaching music and surfing. I lived in New Zealand for five years and can understand first hand what it is like to be in a foreign country. I spent a year backpacking in Australia and learned many skills whilst travelling alone. I can offer you a warm and friendly home with home cooked meals so that you don’t feel too far away from home. We live near the beach so hope that you will be interested in exploring our beautiful coastline whilst learning English with a friendly family. Perhaps you might even enjoy surfing or swimming in the atlantic ocean.
