I am a retired accountant living in Truro in Cornwall. Our house is near the train station and the bus stop and within walking distance of the city centre. We are at a 15 minutes drive of the North coast of Cornwall with its long surfing beaches and about 20 Minutes to the softer beaches of the South coast, which are ideal for sea swimming. Over the last 6 years I have hosted and taught students from many countries such as Spain, Hungary, Italy, France, Belgium and Chili. I always take my students on outings to visit places like st Michael’s Mount, Lanhydrock, which is a local Victorian stately home and I spend a lot of time showing them the lovely landscapes around my area. All my meals are cooked from scratch and I organise my lessons to suit each student’s particular need. My husband plays in a rock band so we also take our guests to gigs in the local pubs and clubs.
