I live with my husband Steve and our little cat, Cobweb, and occasionally we are joined by my youngest son, Noah, when he is not travelling the world. At the moment he is in Australia. My other son lives about 3 hours away with his girlfriend and our grandson, who is constant source of entertainment. We live in a converted barn in a quiet area of Shoreham-by-Sea, a short walk from the River Adur and around 15 minutes walk from the beach and the sea, we both love to walk and explore the local area.
I trained in hotel and catering and have run my own hotel and restaurants both in England and in France. Being a mother of 2 boys it was normal to have the whole rugby team at the table for dinner. I am look forward to sharing our home and local area and maybe surprising you with some good English cooking! We are a very sociable family, laid back and relaxed, but full of fun.
Sarha is married to Stephen and he is a Property Manager. I love to cook and eat out in restaurants. My husband and I are regular travelers and enjoy immersing ourselves in to other cultures and their cuisine. I walk a lot, along the beach and the river. We both enjoy the cinema and theatre and reading.
Shoreham is lovely small town with good shopping facilities and plenty of places to eat and drink. Being by the sea gives it a very relaxed feel, we are only 20 minutes from the larger towns of Brighton and Worthing and only an hour and half by direct train to London. We are very lucky to have some interesting walks along the river, the sea and also in the South Downs.
We have plenty of things to do locally, apart from taking advantage of the walking, we have cinemas, theatres and museums, both locally in Brighton and Worthing, but it is easy to get to London to visit museums and to do sightseeing.
Day trips to Beachy Head, Hastings, Lewes, local villages.
In Brighton we can visit the Royal Pavilion and the famous Brighton Pier and the i360
